Gururaj really made our experience one to remember. She helped us through certain troubles and was always responsive. The house was lovely and very fun with so many things to do. The kitchen was very nice and had all the things we needed as well as the amenties. Would definitely recommend Gururaj for top service and a top experience.

Next time after a reparation, make sure on your own all is fine, no excuses Positive: The house is perfect, and I don’t think they meant to have this problem but for sure it’s their responsibility to make sure basic needs are met Negative: Tap water was a lot smelly iron, I boiled 2 eggs and this water turn black with sediments, I had 2 days 3 night booking , but decide to leave before since there were no option to use water at all
Hi, there was an issue with water filter - took my plumber 10 minutes to change , things like these do happen at times . Had you waited for 10 minutes the issue would have been resolved
Positive: Good location for a summer vacation, backyard, deck, and view of property were beautiful Negative: This property was unfortunately a disappointment for my party of 16. We absolutely did not feel like it was enough space for 16 people, especially in the winter when we would not be able to utilize the yard as much. The bottom bunk of the bed i was sleeping on broke overnight while i was asleep, and I am a small person. Also, the water is yellow, if you use the ice maker with the sink water the cubes will be yellow. When we took showers, there was a very strong smell of metal inside and around the bathroom. Nice place for a smaller group/summer trip, but definitely not large enough to be listed to fit 16 people.
Ashley , the property is as advertised and accommodates 16. Guests use the property to exactly stay for a few days , this is not a typical Grandma retirement home - one with chauffeur service which you were expecting during your stay. The listing clearly shows the bedrooms & sleeps count - I wish you would read and comprehend before placing the blame on the homeowners and listings.

Beautiful spot for a weekend getaway for my bachelorette! There was plenty of space for the 13 of us to sleep and hang out comfortably. The location on the lake was perfect. We had a great time kayaking on the lake, sitting in the hammock, enjoying the hot tub, and having a fire. We even saw a bald eagle soaring across the lake. Gururaj was super responsive with any questions we had. We ran out of toilet paper and within an hour we had more delivered to us, along with some firewood and sparkling water. Highly recommend. Would love to come back again.

Being in the service industry myself, I appreciate the effort it takes to meet diverse guest needs, and the overall experience here delivered. My family (and dogs!) had a wonderful time—the kids loved the lake and pool table, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Easter weekend was filled with love, joy, and lasting memories. The location was perfect—close to Kalahari, Walmart, Aldi, Premium Outlets, yet quiet enough to relax. I especially appreciated the extra mile Gururaj went to provide us with extra sheets. I wish I could give 10 stars!! The house was beautiful and clean and the view was gorgeous. House was well supplied with all the essentials and the hot tub was high end and clean. Kids loved kayaking on the lake and the fire pit. But what stands out the most was Gururaj- he was the most accommodating, flexible and responsive host we’ve ever dealt with. He responded to all requests very quickly. He accommodated us for a last minute reservation. During our stay we reached out because there was a hammock in the listing description but it seemed to have been moved or lost. He went above and beyond to order a brand new hammock for us and had it delivered an hour later. The stand came without the cloth so he personally sent his cleaner to bring a cloth and assemble the whole thing. We were blown away by his unbelievable service. We really enjoyed using the hammock and it enhanced the experience for us. We had the most peaceful and relaxing vacation! Thanks Gururaj!

It was a perfect place that combined leisure and entertainment. We had booked several activities for the weekend, but unfortunately, it rained, and we couldn't go out. Everyone stayed inside the house. The backyard, which offered kayaking and hot hub was very comfortable and relaxing. My family and I had an unforgettable weekend. Highly recommended. If I had to mention something to improve, it would be that the dining area is a bit cramped.
Great home for a great price. Host was very responsive and even accommodated special requests. Comfortably slept 12. Another perk is the three bathrooms! Access to the water was easy and lots of floaties, kayaks, etc to use. Not a ton to do in the area, but we had a blast right at the house, and wish we had more time there! The community is very strict about only four cars at the home.

We have had plenty of groups hosted with parking for more than 5 cars at times ! Prospective guests looking at the review - feel free to contact us about parking . The above comment by the traveller is not true and in fact they were parking outside the gates of the house which the community security objected too !

Beautiful place to hold a large group, the children had fun games to play and the lake was a plus even with it being covered with snow. The adults loved the hot tub. The host was great he answered every question and gave detail instructions on how to check in and out. I would love to stay there again in the summer!
The stay at this listing was amazing! We were a group of 16, and the space was absolutely perfect. The house is large, well-designed, and comfortably accommodated all of us without feeling cramped. The layout of the home is fantastic for a big group. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, and the common areas—especially the large living room and kitchen—made it easy for all of us to hang out together. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. We had a great time!

Had a fantastic time for a large group, long weekend. Comfortably fit 11 people for a long weekend. Lots of space, multiple grills, kayaks, fire pits. Lovely time and great and responsive host who generously left us snacks and some beverages to greet and welcome us
The place was really beautiful it is just beside lake the only downside its gated community so you cannot play with a big group. But the airbnb is amazing and i loved every part of aesthetics and kayaks everything. He was also very responsive in all the matter took care of everything with outmost urgency
Before even booking this place Gururaj was friendly, responsive/helpful and wants his guests happy. The location is beautiful and in a central location for many activities. We had rain the whole weekend so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoor space but we did use hot tub which was lovely and well maintained. This property needs A LOT…A LOT!!!! of maintenance in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen!! Front door doesn’t close unless the dead bolt is on. There are no screens on any windows/sliding doors except for the kitchen sink window. I wish I had more positive things to say but this rental definitely was not worth the money in my opinion.

We originally planned on hiking and sightseeing however the combination of the fantastic lake view, great high end hot tub and the different options the house provides to go out on the water was so relaxing and fun we decided to spend most of our five days around house. Gururaj responds in Olympic time and gave us a late check out. We are Definitely coming back and definitely recommending this place to our family and friends. We reached out in advance re sensitivity regarding the - Gururaj had a bran new one there for us by the time we checked in.

We came together to celebrate birthdays and an anniversary. This home was perfect for our family! We loved the kayaks and paddle boat. We spent almost all of our time outside at the lake. Our dogs loved it, too! The yard is private with a fence bordering most of it, which helped the dogs know where to stay. Gururaj’s communication was excellent. He answered all of my (many) questions quickly and showed great care for his property and our positive experience. We really enjoyed this stay and highly recommend it.

Gururaj was an excellent host. Very communicative and helpful. Even left us a pleasant surprise for our party. I would not recommend more than 6 adults for this house. It says sleeps 16 but that's more geared towards families with kids because of the bunk beds, but for the 6 of us it worked fine!

We had a great stay at this home! I was travelling with a large group, the location was excellent, close to everything we needed and easy to get around. Communication with the host was smooth and consistent throughout the entire process, which made check-in and planning our trip much easier. The only small challenge we encountered was that it began to snow right as we arrived, and the walkway became a bit slippery. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely come back!
Thank you for your feedback Adia. It is december in Poconos and it does become slippery in snow and sub zero temperatures . It is a bit unfortunate that you take off a star for the snow and completely ignore the part where your group was given a delayed checkout all the way until 5 PM.
This space is awesome - great location and beautiful view of the lake. The host is very responsive and helpful, and even offered to reimburse us for firewood! If booking with more than 12 people, keep in mind that one of the two sofa beds in the listing is in the garage, and the other is a leather fold-out couch bed.

Gururaj was very communicative and the location, lakefront, and fire pit were incredible. While he was transparent about everything and communicative with some degree of solutions, overall the place was in a bit of disrepair. On arrival, there was no pot for the coffee maker, the oven and stove top were broken, there were 2 broken grills on the grounds, the paddle boat was broken, and there was litter in the yard. He was very helpful in supplying solutions such as sending over a same day coffee pot delivery, getting a grill delivered while we were there, and directing our attention to the counter top appliances such as the air fryer and toaster oven. We were able to make do but unfortunately these issues created a less than five star experience for us. Fortunately for future guests, he mentioned that he would be visiting the site to see what updates it may need. This is a great spot for a campy rustic stay.
Very responsive and accomodable
My group stayed here for a bachelorette party and we had a great time. The home easily fit all 13 of us! The lake was beautiful, clean, and fun to swim in! The host provided us with life jackets and kayaks. Fire wood and treats were delivered to our doorstep as well! Each room has an air conditioning unit making it comfortable to sleep in. Our group loved sitting by the solo stove fire pit with the twinkle lights at night roasting yummy s’mores. The community felt safe and up kept. The pocono brewery was 10 minutes away and the atmosphere and food there was also great! I recommend using this airbnb especially if you have larger groups/families! Thank you Gururaj for your generosity and responsiveness!

We booked this beautiful air BnB for our sons birthday weekend. My and family and I absolutely loved our stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer! The house was clean. The host has awesome decor throughout the house. The beds were super comfy. The backyard was beautiful! Unfortunately, it snowed but we enjoyed it! I will definitely book it again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a family weekend getaway in a beautiful, peaceful area! The host was amazing. He responded quickly to every question I had. Check in and check out was a breeze.

Our stay here was probably the worst air bnb I have probably stayed at . The host was very responsive to our concerns but the house overall had many issues . Check in was 4pm and we arrived at 7:30ish pm and someone with a truck was still taking trash out . When we arrived there were paper towels , a couple dirty socks , bottle caps and a few random things that we had to clean up. The pull out bed had dirt on the sheets and the beds weren’t done. There was dirty laundry in the washer and still towels in the dryer that never got taken care of. Main issue was AC was not working in 2 rooms and it wasn’t fixed until 2nd night , the manager didn’t seem to care even thought it was 92 degrees . Fishing poles don’t work , no umbrella for our bbq during the rain so used a old broken one underneath the deck for first day. Would not stay here again , only have 2 stars because the jacuzzi was great and because the kayaks were nice but the paddle boats don’t work.
Paola , we are extremely saddened to see this feedback. I can assure you our listing and property has been a favourite among a lot of travellers. I clearly communicated that someone in the group were constantly disconnecting the Air conditioners. With respect to the trash pickup - our listing has been booked back to back and the day you checked in , the truck was scheduled to pick up trash . We do not provide fishing poles and the umbrella was shipped out brand new immediately across to you. Unfortunately we couldnt approve your request of a complete refund and chose for you to publish this review as we cannot set extortionary practices as a precedent.

My family and I had a great stay here! We loved the house with it being lake front! We also had a wonderful time making smores and enjoying the firepit in the backyard at night! Gururaj even sent more firewood at starter pack. Not to mention he also gave us some snacks and wine ti enjoy After spending the day in the slopes in Camelback, Gururaj's place is the perfect Airbnb which is like 15 min away! We will def return in the summer to enjoy the lake!
Beautiful view of the lake and love the Christmas/fall decor. Very quiet. Host was responsive!!! I understand why the host said the renovations are delayed because you can see it. But Cobb Webb up on the ceiling light and dust/dirt on the shower wall ledge where the wall meets the shower. I understand there was a well water issue but the host immediately tried to remedy the situation but the water had us all smelling this awful scent that it leaves behind. I was scared to let my children use the water in the house we had to go get bottles of water. I understand it’s a whole community issue but had I known this I would probably booked somewhere else and this is no reflection on the host respectfully.

Little bit dissapointed to see your paranoia about the water - water in the entire poconos comes from ground well and at times the filters run heavy giving out a mettalic taste. We literally remediated it within minutes of finding out. Since you have mentioend it in the review - its my obligation to highlight that your fear and paraonia was extremely exaggerated and can understand that the outdoors isnt for everyone. I also see that you are new to Airbnb and i would highly highly reccomend reading through notes and checkin details where we clearly highlight that though the water is safe - its reccomended to drink bottled water. Apologies for the dirt you found on the ceiling , my crew had to look. hard for it since our ceilings are 15 foot tall . Its only humane that they missed a small corner.
Our experience was upsetting. The home needed a lot of maintenance and upkeep. We weren’t sure if we were at the correct house because the outside was overrun with weeds. The garbages were full from the previous guests. The shelves on the fridge were reinforced by clear tape and the inner shelf was taped together with cardboard as well. Honestly, the house didn’t look clean. Multiple decorative items on shelving and walls had accumulated dust. The chair protectors on the dining room chairs were visibly stained, which is unsanitary. The pedal boat was broken as well as some of the kayaks. The trundle beds were difficult to pull out and one of the bed’s wooden slats was broken and stuck out. The tissue holders in ⅔ bathrooms were broken. The host though was apologetic & quick to response. The whole place was really misleading, it needs definitely an upgrade.

I agree there were a lot of items which were broken , We did reach out to you about these damages and were going to cancel your reservation. Prior to your coming in we did tell you about all of the damages which was done by a group who checked out on the same day as you came in. I am really confused by the feedback as at the time you did tell me that. you understand damages happen , it was next to impossible for me to replace the fridge and cater to the damages in a 3 hour window . Our cleaner also came in explaining to you and your family everything to whom you guys did say that you were fine and it didnt affect your stay. a 6 year old kid in your group was trying to pull the bunk bed trundle and it really doesnt have anything special to it. Nothing was broken on the bunk beds as you indicate in your review. Future guests reading this - on the day of the guest checking in , our crew found our house very badly trashed by guests checking out. A whole lot of damages were found to which we told Crishaver about it - who at the time was extremely understanding. Unfortunately even after providing them unlimited supply/inventory of firewood , charcoal , supplies to make sure they are content - it wasnt enough. A group just like theirs disrepspected our house and we did not have enough time to fix and repair all the items. This was a very unfortunate time and our rest of our reviews speaks for itself.
We loved our stay at Guraraj's place & would book again. There was enough space for our 14-person (+2 dogs) group to be comfortable and not feel like we were on top of each other. We could all gather together when we wanted, but there was enough variety throughout the house and yard for us to be able to do our own things as well! The view is incredible. It was amazing to have a hot tub overlooking the lake and the fire pit was so nice. We definitely felt like we had our privacy without being secluded, and a quick drive to the grocery store. Gururaj was an especially accommodating host; he responded to any questions and concerns promptly from the moment we booked. Prior to check-in, I asked if there was a large pot available in the kitchen, and Gururaj responded immediately saying that one was en route to the house! Definitely went above and beyond. Only thing to note is we did have trouble finding enough towels for everyone, but I'm sure if we had asked, he would have sent those too!

We loved this trip! The communication with the host was great. He answered very quickly to all of our questions and provided a lot of information. The houses location was perfect with access to a community pool and beach. The inside of the house was very clean. Our only complaint is there were some small things broken (toilet paper holder, hole in door, pedal boat etc.). The hot tub was also a little dirty. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! One of the best parts was the provided kayaks which we could use right off the backyard. Would come back and stay again.
I rented the place out for my birthday. This was one of the best birthdays I ever had. He was extremely accommodating to my three dogs, family, and friends. He was very responsive and was very proactive to ensure a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful Lake house with ample space inside and outside. It was a great place to unplug and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The host is very thoughtful as he provided us with small gestures of kindness. It was great experience and look forward to making it back in the future.

Jack - the place was absolutely spick and span before your arrival - we were generous to not put in a complain about ur group due to the extent of wild partying you and your entire group did . There were undergarments ur group threw around the entire house - wish you would introspect into your groups qualitative nature .

The house was great - the backyard is a very chill spot with two firepits and a hot tub. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend here with my friends. Everything was as described and Gururaj was very responsive and helpful in every way. Definitely recommend and would return here again for sure! I think our whole group was in agreement.

Despite some issues with heat/power caused by the weather (do not recommend going during or near times of extreme cold or snow) we had a great time and Gururaj was very responsive and helpful.

Great place! Felt like home only better! Fun for kids and adults both!. Kitchen had everything needed to make each meal easy peasy! With 2 family cooks we both greatly enjoyed the Blackstone on the back porch, its where we did all of our cooking during our stay. The kids cought fish! They loved the kayaks too. And the whole family from young to old really enjoyed the hot tub! I would highly recommend this property!
This home was immaculate, beautiful. The view of the lake was amazing on mornings. Our kids had a great time even though it was a little bit chilly because of the hot tub. There were lots of towels, bedding’s blanket, pots pans, dishes couldn’t ask for anything more. Will definitely stay there again.
This was the perfect place for our friends to gather for a weekend on the lake! We loved the back porch (the blackstone was awesome!) the hot tub, and being able to swim right from the backyard was great. We used the kayaks and brought floats, and really had a great time! Such a beautiful spot.
Enjoyed our stay at Gururaj's home. We had a bit of difficulty getting in but quickly received new instructions. Home was clean and welcoming. Gururaj was kind enough to leave us treats & a bottle of wine, which was greatly appreciated. The two refrigerators were perfect for us. Used it to separate adult drinks from the kids. Pedal boat was rusted and unable to used, but all of us enjoyed the kayaking, even made it to highway.. Fishing poles were not usable, ran out and got our own. Enjoyed some fishing time, Our little one even caught one. Our Giant Schnauzer loved swimming and playing fetch in the lake. e did run into a large, very muddy area located near the sitting area in the yard. Luckily, we noticed it the first night, so we knew to avoid that area. All in all, this was a great stay for us. Gururaj was nice enough to inform us that we left our daughter's hoover board and has offered to ship it to us. Would def visit again.

Natalia- i sent videos , showed you how to operate the mini split and showed you that there was a thermometer reading the house as pretty warm. You guys left the house doors open throughout the night. I have videos from my security camera showing that. You and your entire family broke into the closet and destroyed house comforters & towels - all were dumped in the snow outside by the hot tub. Future Guests reading this - Please refer to her other reviews . This guest is a scammer and the review is purely retaliatory . They left the house open causing severe plumbing issues and when asked about it- she retaliated with this review. Temperature readings from the house were submitted to Airbnb. She booked the house knowing there is a snow storm brewing outside . Pool sticks , pool table , garage - every single in the house was damaged by her and it took 2 days to get the house in basic order. It is shown by the immediate review we got by Isabella who checked in after her .

Gururaj was a great host. The house was spotless. Two fire pits in the back was the icing on the cake. Lots of room for active games. The lake was wonderful and the kayaks worked flawlessly. Even provided life jackets which was highly considerate and I appreciate the extra mile Gururaj went for us to have a great experience. Would 100% recommend to anyone 👍🏽
Great spot, great value. Peaceful, quiet, right on the water. No issues. Would recommend! One note - If you're sleeping (16) some people are going to stay to stay on the couches. Tough for adults, fine for kids!
